Faymont 2.0

Remodel, renovate, reconstruct, revitalize

The challenge: turn a 1950’s tract home into a comfortable, contemporary Craftsman — maximizing every inch of space on a cramped lot — without building another McMansion. The homeowners went through a painstakingly slow demolition process to preserve the old house while making room for the new. New foundation extended the square footage by about 500 square feet, but the open floor plan and new vaulted ceilings truly transformed the house into something special and unique. Every detail was well thoughtout, planned and carefully crafted with the homeowners’ vision in mind. The end result: a beautiful “new” old home that allows for a seamless transition between inside and outside living spaces, an open floor plan made for entertaining, a gourmet kitchen, a zen-like master suite, and increased light and privacy to make the home feel like a sanctuary in the midst of a concrete jungle.
